U.S.: PKK Not A Tool For Revenge

U.S. Special Envoy for Countering the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) Gen. Joseph W. Ralston denied rumors that the United States is using the PKK to take revenge on Turkey for not allowing U.S. troops to enter Iraq through its borders in 2003, Turkish daily Zaman reported Oct. 20. Ralston said instability in Iraq has affected U.S. efforts against the PKK.
