U.S.: F-22 Stealth Fighters Join South Korea Drills

The United States sent F-22 stealth fighter jets to South Korea on March 31 to join military drills, Reuters reported. The drills are aimed at emphasizing the U.S. commitment to defend Seoul during an intensifying campaign of threats from North Korea. On March 29, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un placed the country's Strategic Rocket Forces on standby to strike the U.S. mainland and U.S. military bases in Hawaii, Guam and South Korea.
