Turkey: Missile Deployment Would Be A Mistake - Iranian Commander

A Turkish deployment of Patriot missiles aimed at paving the way for a military intervention in Syria would be a strategic mistake, Iranian Brig. Gen. Yadollah Javani, a senior adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said Nov. 27, Iran's Press TV reported. Turkey would suffer heavier costs than in the past and would be severely harmed, he said. Earlier in November, Turkey asked NATO to deploy Patriot missile systems to protect the country's border with Syria.
