Syria: Russia May Change Position If Al Assad 'Cheats,' Senior Official Says

Russia may change its position on Syria if it sees any "cheating" by the regime of Syrian President Bashar al Assad, the Kremlin chief of staff, Sergei Ivanov said Sept. 21, Reuters reported, citing Russian media. Ivanov was speaking at a conference on Stockholm. Russia still does not know where Syria's chemical weapons are located, though the issue will become clear within a week, he said.
