Palestinian Territories: Fatah Celebration Cut Short By Disagreements, Riots, Report Says

Celebrations in the Gaza Strip on Jan. 4 marking the 48th anniversary of Fatah  were interrupted due to disorganization, and a number of Fatah leaders left because of disagreements, pro-Hamas Al-Aqsa TV reported. Speeches by Nabil Shath and Rawhi Mushtaha were cancelled due to riots by supporters of expelled Fatah leader Mohammed Dahlan, Al-Quds TV reported. Fatah is in a position of weakness relative to Hamas.
