North Korea: British Foreign Minister Calls For Chinese Support On U.N. Resolutions

British Foreign Minister William Hague said Feb. 12 that the U.N. Security Council could pass new resolutions regarding North Korea after Pyongyang carried out a third nuclear test but added that the impact of any resolutions would depend on China's support, Reuters reported. Hague said sanctions and additional pressure could be brought to bear on North Korea, adding that China has agreed there would be significant action. Pyongyang is keeping its nuclear missile program seemingly viable but ambiguous.
