Jordan: Authorities Will Have No Tolerance For Violence During Protests - Police Chief

Jordanian authorities will have zero tolerance for those who incite violence during protests, the Jordanian police chief said Nov. 15, AP reported. A Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood leader said the group will continue staging protests until the government's decision to increase fuel and gas prices is revoked. The monarchy's weak position, the country's struggling economy and competition among ethnic factions have made conditions ripe for instability in Jordan.
