Japan: Defense Ministry Reportedly Mulling Allowing Air Force To Fire Warning Shots

Japan's Ministry of Defense is considering authorizing jets from the country's Air Self-Defense Force to fire warning shots when Chinese planes enter airspace claimed by Japan, the South China Morning Post and AFP reported Jan. 10, citing Japanese media.
