Iraq: At Least 9 Wounded In Clashes Between Army, Protesters In Fallujah

At least nine people were wounded Jan. 25 in Fallujah when Iraqi troops opened fire on protesters, Reuters reported. The clashes broke out after the army arrested three protesters and encountered rock-throwing demonstrators on a major highway, authorities said. Al-Arabiya TV, a Saudi-funded outlet, reported that three people were killed.
