Iraq: Kurdish Government Denies Reports Of Russian Arms Deal

The Kurdistan Regional Government has not signed a contract to buy arms from Russia, and reports to the contrary are baseless, a KRG spokesman said Dec. 6, PUKmedia reported. Earlier reports said that the Kurdish government had signed a weapons deal worth $87 million. Relations between the KRG and the Iraqi government have declined severely.
