India: Nuclear-Capable Missile Test Successful, Report Says

India has successfully tested a medium-range, nuclear-capable K-5 ballistic missile fired from an underwater platform in the Bay of Bengal, AP reported Jan. 27, citing a report by Press Trust of India news agency. According to the report, the missile will soon be ready for deployment on platforms, including nuclear submarines.
