France: Possible Terrorist Attacks Targets Factory

Two men in a stolen car attacked a factory in southeastern France June 26, La Dauphine reported. The attack, which resulted in one fatality and a number of injuries, happened around 10:00 a.m. local time at the Air Products factory at Saint-Quentin-Fallavier. A number of explosions were heard, believed to be the detonation of air canisters. Local sources reported that a decapitated body was found at the scene along with a flag and pamphlets with Islamic inscriptions written on them. One of the attackers is believed to have been arrested and had previously been questioned by French counter-terrorist authorities. French president Francois Hollande is on route to France from Brussels, where he was attending a summit of EU leaders. In January, a terrorist attack in Paris killed 17.
