France: Far-Right Group To Be Shut Down After Student's Death

France will shut down the far-right Revolutionary Nationalist Youths after some of its members allegedly beat a leftist student to death June 5, French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said June 8, Reuters reported. The Revolutionary Nationalist Youths denied involvement in the student's death, but all of the suspects under investigation have ties to the Third Way — the far-right group of which the Revolutionary Nationalist Youths are the militant wing. The economic crisis in Europe has seen the rising popularity of far-right groups.
