Egypt: Presidential Decrees Did Not Infringe On Judiciary - Morsi

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi told the country's top judges that he acted within his rights when he issued the controversial presidential decrees that granted him broad powers over the judiciary, and added that the decrees did not infringe on the judiciary in any way, a presidential spokesman said Nov. 26, AP reported. The decrees sparked protests against Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood that have spread throughout the country.
