Egypt: Giza Police Station Attacked

Supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi stormed a police station in the Talbiya neighborhood in Giza governorate on July 5, Ahram Online reported. The incident occurred during a pro-Morsi march to Nahda Square near Cairo University. Security forces reportedly attempted to stop the attack by firing tear gas at the protesters. The Muslim Brotherhood can be expected to continue to engage in protests which, coupled with a security crackdown on the group, will likely result in violence.
