Egypt: Clashes Break Out Near Presidential Palace

Clashes have broken out around the Egyptian presidential palace, Nile News TV reported Feb. 11. Protesters, who reportedly pulled down large portions of the barbed wire around the palace and threw stones at the building, are being dispersed with water hoses. Thousands of people across the country are demonstrating against Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi to mark the second anniversary of former President Hosni Mubarak's ouster.
