Egypt: Alexandria Judges To Stop Work In Protest Of Decree

Judges in Alexandria decided Nov. 24 to suspend the work of all courts and prosecutions in the Alexandria and Beheira governorates, Xinhua reported. The suspension is in protest of a recent decree issued by Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi that prohibits anyone from challenging any law, decree or constitutional declaration the president has made since taking office.
