Congo: Thousands Flee Sake As M23 Militants Advance

Thousands of people fled the town of Sake, just west of Goma, on Nov. 23 as the Rwandan-backed militia M23 advanced toward the town, AFP reported. Kigali has used the group to create a strategic buffer zone in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as it attempts to deal with border security issues.
