China: Soldiers Sent To Myanmar Border

China has sent soldiers to its border with Myanmar over concerns that violence between Myanmar's government and ethnic separatists is spilling over, Reuters reported Jan. 11, citing official Chinese newspaper The Global Times. The report said troops were sent to Yunnan province, across the border from northern Kachin state in Myanmar, to try to understand the situation. No details on the number or type of soldiers were given.
