China: Anti-Corruption Official Orders Staff To Give Up VIP Cards

China's anti-corruption bureau head, Wang Qishan, ordered his staff members to get rid of their VIP cards, commonly given out by Chinese businesses to provide discounts or exclusive services, Reuters reported May 27, citing state media. Chinese President Xi Jinping has led a push against corruption in an attempt to build support for his administration at a time when public resentment is becoming particularly worrisome for the Communist Party.
