Afghanistan: 4 Suicide Bombers Attack Security Forces

Four suicide bombers launched attacks across Afghanistan on Feb 24, leaving at least two soldiers and a bomber dead and seven people wounded, including three policemen and a security guard, security officials said, The Guardian reported. The Taliban have claimed all of the attacks except the attempt in Kabul against the National Directorate of Security, during which the suicide bomber was killed before he was able to detonate his explosive device. As Afghan national security forces assume a primary combat role throughout the country, they will begin taking the brunt of the casualties in the ongoing conflict.
