A Kuwaiti appeals court overturned the five-year jail sentence given to prominent opposition and tribal leader Musallam al Barrack, who was convicted of insulting Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah at a political rally in October 2012, a defense lawyer said, Reuters reported.
