Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has said that three officials from the U.S. Embassy in Caracas funded a plot to sabotage Venezuela's national electrical grid, Globovision reported Sept. 30. Maduro said the three officials had 48 hours to vacate the country.
Syrian President Bashar al Assad will run for re-election in 2014 if he feels the Syrian people want him to, he said in an interview with Italian Rai News 24 on Sept. 30, Andalou Agency reported.
