U.S.: China Plays Important Role In Reconstructing Afghanistan – Diplomat

Chinese investment in Afghanistan will bring jobs and a "connection to the future" to Afghanistan, U.S. Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman said July 12, Xinhua reported. Grossman added that the United States and China are jointly training some Afghan diplomats and would like to pursue projects in health and agriculture together.
