Iran: Underground Nuclear Capacity Doubled – U.N. Agency

Iran has doubled its number of uranium enrichment machines, according to an Aug. 30 U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency report, Reuters reported. This report shows Tehran has defied pressure to halt its atomic work. As Israeli politicians have increased their talk of airstrikes on Iranian targets, Iran was increasing its enrichment capacity underground in order to survive such an airstrike.
