Germany: Court Unlikely To Block Europe’s Rescue Fund – Finance Minister

German Deputy Finance Minister Steffen Kampeter said July 9 that he does not expect the country’s Constitutional Court to block Europe’s permanent bailout fund, and that the fund should come into effect within the next week, Bloomberg reported. Kampeter added that he does not see a single euro-area bank supervisor being established before 2013, and that such supervision needs to be in place before steps are taken to resolve the solidarity issue.
