Members of Iraqi Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr’s Mehdi Army on March 24 moved into Baghdad’s southern al-Ilaam, Shurta, Bayaa and Amil districts and western Washas district, ordering shop owners to close, Reuters reported, citing witnesses.
