Austin, TX, May 10, 2007 — STRATFOR’s Geopolitical Intelligence Report this week discusses the aftermath of Serbia’s Jan. 21 national elections, and how time is running out for the various parties in parliament to form a majority coalition. Failure to act will open up a new election season. However, with Serbian national pride crushed over Kosovo’s inevitable independence — and no party anxious to take part in the government that must give the province away — the May 14 deadline quite likely will slip on by.
