Yemeni cooperation with the United States on unmanned aerial vehicle strikes will continue until al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is defeated in Yemen, Yemeni National Security Agency chief Gen. Ali Al Ahmadi said Jan. 8, Yemen Observer reported Jan. 9. Ahmadi said that after al Qaeda is defeated, Yemen would not want military assistance from any country.
