Iran has rejected the United States' offer of humanitarian aid for survivors of recent Iranian earthquakes, Hassan Ghadami, the head of the Iranian Interior Ministry's crisis management organization, said Aug. 15, AFP reported, citing Iranian state media. Tehran does not believe that the U.S. offer was made in good faith, Ghadami said, as Iran's medicine supply crisis has been caused by Western sanctions. Washington should lift the sanctions instead, he said.
