The Colombian government sent a note of protest to the Nicaraguan government condemning the alleged transport of suspected Colombian guerrillas Martha Pérez Gutiérrez and Doris Bohórquez Torres in an official Nicaraguan air force plane, El Nuevo Diario reported May 16. The Nicaraguan air force plane used Colombian airspace to transport the guerrillas.
