Europe Frets About Lisbon Treaty and Climate Change

Business and political leaders in Europe have much to worry about. They are fretting about the approaching referendum in Ireland on the Lisbon Treaty, involving reform of the European Union constitution. An even bigger worry is the looming Copenhagen summit on climate change, where — whether there is agreement or not — the upshot is likely to create new pressure on the slight economic recovery in some countries.
