Big Test Ahead for Japan's New Leader

The Democratic Party of Japan crushed the long-established Liberal Democratic Party in elections over the weekend. But with Japan facing huge external debt, record unemployment and a public service resistant to change, change activists will need guile and strategy as well as the numbers in parliament to make an impact.
