Australian Industry Minister Ian Macfarlane on March 7 urged energy companies involved in the production of two gas fields in the Timor Sea to stop bickering and get on with operations. The minister said he will do what he can to help advance the projects, adding, "But let me be absolute -- get over the commercial wrangling and get on with the job. The line is in the sand." Macfarlane made the comments one day after East Timor and Australia signed an agreement for sharing revenue from the Greater Sunrise gas field.
