The Front for the Liberation of the Cabinda Enclave (FLEC), a separatist group in the Angolan province of Cabinda, claimed responsibility for a March 3 attack that killed three Angolan soldiers and wounded a foreign employee of a Portuguese construction company in the province, media reported March 7. A FLEC spokesman threatened additional attacks against anyone entering Cabinda without the rebel group’s approval.
