Airbus Industry announced the opening of its new Japanese subsidiary May 21, with the new venture for the European aircraft maker likely to prove very lucrative.Airbus Japan KK will compete with Boeing, which has a monopoly in the super jumbo aircraft market in Japan, having sold 618 aircraft in the country to date.
