Robert D. Kaplan is the author of Asia's Cauldron: The South China Sea and the End of a Stable Pacific, which was published by Random House in March 2014. In 2012, he published The Revenge of Geography: What the Map Tells Us about Coming Conflicts and the Battle Against Fate, and in 2010, Monsoon: The Indian Ocean and the Future of American Power. In both 2011 and 2012, he was chosen by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the world's "Top 100 Global Thinkers."

VP of Intelligence

  Fred Burton is one of the world's foremost authorities on security and terrorism. He oversees Stratfor's analysis of global security developments and consults with clients on security-related issues affecting their business assets or personal safety. He also guides Stratfor's extensive coverage of the security environment in Mexico and closely monitors Mexican drug cartels, their areas of influence and their drug trafficking routes. Before joining Stratfor, Burton was a counterterrorism agent with the U.S. State Department from 1985 to 1999.

Jennifer Richmond manages the development and maintenance of Stratfor's international networks, as well as Stratfor's collection of information across Asia, with an emphasis on China. She investigates and identifies trends in domestic Chinese issues to support client solutions and publishing efforts.
