Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will visit India in March 2010, Press Trust of India reported Dec. 7. Putin's visit will be at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh. Singh pointed out that it was during Putin's visit to India in 2000, when he was president of Russia, that the two countries signed a strategic partnership.
